From what began as an lifelong interest in politics, Kaylie Sadlon never thought that she would find passion in political fundraising. Kaylie began her journey at Golden State Consultants as a Summer intern during the 2016 election cycle. While sending out mailers and dialing for dollars wasn’t in her job description for long, Kaylie now has shifted her focus within the company as Associate Finance Coordinator. Kaylie works closely with the California Women’s Leadership Association, mainly working with the legislative advocacy and membership aspects of the 501©4 organization. She assists on the campaigns of other GSC clients and the administrative duties of the office.
In 2016, Kaylie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, graduating cum laude from CSU San Marcos. An athletic scholarship to play on CSUSM’s collegiate golf team brought Kaylie down to San Diego County from Simi Valley, Ca. She was also a founding member of the university’s current College Republican chapter and belongs to Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Honor Society.
She’s a proud sister to her 2 brothers in the US Marine Corps and US Navy. During her free time, Kaylie enjoys reading, taking her dog to the beach, and exploring everything that San Diego has to offer. Kaylie’s biggest influential role models include: American journalist Megyn Kelly, U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Ohio Governor John Kasich. One day, Kaylie hopes to continue her education and earn a Master’s degree in Public Affairs or Public Policy.
